THE OFFICIAL COMMISSIONING OF NEXIM BANK PRAYER CHAPEL BY PASTOR ANDY OSAKWE IN ABUJA : Story by: Ahmed Bala A

The premises of Nigeria foremost bank, NEXIM Bank, was recently a beehive of activities, when scores of people came in their numbers to witness the official commissioning of a befitting prayer chapel for all Christian worshipers of the bank.

The management team lead by Dr. Bala Bello and the ED Corporate services in their usual magnanimity, approved the completion of the prayer chapel project.

Commissioned amidst pomp and fanfare by Pastor Andy Osakwe, Moses Bliss in his usual style, led the praise and worship. During his sermon, the pastor said “I want to charge us with the words of Napoleon Bonaparte” which says “Surely in a matter of this kind we should endeavour  to do something that we may say that we have not lived in vain that we may leave some impress of ourselves on the sand of time” He concluded by saying “May we be partakers of Isaiah 60:1-2  Amen.

A staff who spoke to vijon also said “A chapel such as this, could only be meant for people who yearn to fellowship with God and also find the right keys that will unlock their intimacy with Him”. Apart from being an avenue to give hope to the hopeless, the chapel will specifically be used to preach the gospel and also win souls for Christ”.

The colourful event which attracted so many dignitaries was attended by Dr. Stella Erhuvwuoghene Okotete (Executive Director – Business Development NEXIM Bank), Pastor Andy Osakwe, Moses Bliss, staff of the bank among others.
